    "If" statements or "contains"?

    Hi

I am currently building a printing request form. I have managed to build it all ok but I am stuck calculating the total of the print job.

This is the formula for the calculation of ink cost.

    (sum(my:request/my:no_copies) * (sum(my:bw) + sum(my:col)) * sum(my:page_per_doc)

The person requesting can select the type of "sides" they want, so Single page > Single page, Single page > Double page, Double page > Single Page or Double page > Double Page.

I have everything calculating ok on the ink, apart from Double > Double which if that drop down is selected, the ink cost needs to be *2.

I dont know how to apply this to only Double > Double. I have looked a but at using "contains" in the formula but it doesnt seem to work.

If anyone can help that would be great.

Sorry for this, I am a newbie!!

    Thanks

I've read all few times but cannot understand the meaning of:

    ghud2390:
The person requesting can select the type of "sides" they want, so Single page > Single page, Single page > Double page, Double page > Single Page or Double page > Double Page

and how it is connected with a formula

Can you provide a step-by-step instruction and/or include your xsn form template file?
