Can I put a field in an InfoPath 2010 form independently from the SharePoint list ?
if yes how can I do it ? because the browser wont let me fill in this field because it has no relation with a list column :\

InfoPath allows different form types. Unfortunately, one of those form types, the SharePoint list form, has its schema locked to the corresponding SharePoint list, which means that you cannot add/delete fields. You would need to add/delete columns in the SharePoint list, in order for those to be modifiable in the form. Does that make sense?

The thing is that I just want the user to write something in the field, and then take the data and save it the way I want in the SharePoint list. So can I use another form type to do that? thanks for replying :)
