I created a view to use with owsvr.dll and expected all of the columns in that view to show up in the rs:data node of the 2DS but they don't. Any idea what i may have done wrong?

Do the columns have data? That is, sometimes if a column is completely blank, SharePoint won't include the information, so IP won't know about it when it creates the schema....
