I have a form set up where I'm grabbing GetUserProfileByName to fill in some fields. The more this form is getting used within the corporation, the more we're realizing people are not keeping their profiles up-to-date. What I'd like to implement is an option for the user to update their own profile through the information entered in the form.
For example, you open up this form, and it pre-populates all of the necessary information. For some reason you notice the form is saying you work on the 13th floor when really you work on the 1st floor. This is probably because you have moved from the 13th down to the 1st but never updated your profile. I'd like to allow the user to change this value and, if they choose "Yes" on an option button, update their profile with the information they have just entered ("1st floor").
Is this at all possible? And if so, how would I do it? I've been googling to no avail, so if anyone has any tutorials they could link me to that would be amazing.
