I want to hide an item except in the last row of a repeating table. I have tried using max() but not sure I am doing it correctly. So I am hiding my control if

field1 != max(field1)

 is this the correct syntax?

So you're trying to show only the last row of the repeating table?  The following condition should work, though if you're using a browser form, you'll probably need a workaround for the position() and last() functions.

Condition: position() != last()
