I've got a simple form with six text boxes. I have three fields set as Cannot be blank. I have added a submit and update button to my form thus making it easy for staff to click Submit. It writes to my form list within SharePoint and places a concat function of a code from one of the fields and the Now() to add the unique time stamp which creates my form name. Everything has been working fine... except...
When a user is populating a form for the first time and they leave a field blank and press submit, the form will present a message to the user that the field cannot be blank. However the form data is still passed to sharepoint. How can I abort the form from moving forward if the cannot be blank data needs to be populated first. Hope this makes sense.
