So I've made a Infopath webform that will be opened by multiple people and depending on your membership I want to enable/disable different sections. Overall this is working fine, I get to one area though that is a repeating section that I want to give one group the ability to add/modify the contents and all others just view (read-only). So I've configured the rules on the control and selected "Don't allow users to insert or delete this control", which only seems to work partially. The read-only groups can see the control, cannot modify the contents but they CAN delete a section or remove a section completely, just not modify it's contents. Am I missing something?

I would suggest a different approach.

Insert two sections, then put your repeating section within each of those sections. Use one section for one user group, and use the second section for the other group. That way, you can control individually what options are allowed for each group.
