InfoPath Dev

I'm trying to figure out how to add this.  I'm using a LineBreaks.xml file 

<linebreaks>
    <newLine>&#xA;</newLine>
    <newLine>&#xD;</newLine>
</linebreaks>

 

The problem I'm having is I want the Comment Log to store the information when posted and have the ability to add new comments above the old comments, keep comment log with historical comments.

Meaning at any point the user can come back in the form and see old comments and add new comments at the top of comment log.

I know this can be done without code, I've done it before but cannot remember.  Please help. Thanks

Are you customizing a SP list form?  If so, then there is built in functionality to support rich text append changes which sounds like what you might want.

 I'm using InfoPath and publishing to SP Doc Library however comments log I am not publishing to SP.  I want the Comment Log stored within InfoPath xml file
