I need to pass a field to SharePoint that contains plain text only, but that field is longer that 255 characters. I currently pass the item as rich text so that when I email the item out of SharePoint as part of a workflow, the item displays in full. However, since the email must contain only plain text, the item I send has RTF type characters. Is there a way to not have those RTF characters in the text without adding code in InfoPath?
