Can values be added dynamically to a plain list control?

Here's what I am trying to do. I have several, say 5 for this example, check boxes with an equal number of corresponding (hidden) text boxes that will hold a corresponding value. If 1 or more checkbox is checked (=true), then I want to display the textbox value in a list. Is this possible? If for example, only 3 of 5 checkboxes = true, then I would have 3 items in my list.

I don't care if teh list is numbered, bulleted or plain listed, I just want them in a list style. Any ideas? Is there a better way to do this?

Re: Can values be added dynamically to a plain list control?

I totally figured out a way to do this using rules and forgetting the list control idea.  First I stacked my 5 textboxes vertically like a list in the section they needed to appear then:

    1) In the checkbox control set rule;  If checkbox1 = true, set field1 = value1

    2) In the textbox controld set condition; if field1 is blank, hide textbox

This allows my makeshift list to not have any gaps in the event a checkbox is not checked (=false).

So simple (which is all I needed for my purposes).

     :)~
