I searched first and could not find anything on termsets. 

based on the qrules video, i was able to retrieve the Termsets using the GetTermSets command using a button on a infopath form.  I have two questions though:

1) is it possible to retrieve the term set directly on a drop down list field without using a button?  I intend to use the Termset data as columns on a form and they should be auto populated when the form loads (as opposed to clicking on a button to retrieve the term set data)

2) is it possible to create cascading drop downs on the infopath form for term sets that has cascading data?

1) Yes you can populate the data on load instead of using a button.  You can either set data connection to auto load when the form opens or create a form load rule to query the data.

2) Yes you can create cascading dropdowns using term sets.

Thank you for replying.  I will try the autoload or the load rule and see.   For the cascading drop downs, i have never done these before (from any data source), should i just search for cascading dropdowns on this forum and go from there?  Is is similar to other types of datasources?
