New to infopath - need to create application form

     Hi!

I have been asked to create an application form, where when there is specific figures entered in, it will then populate a table and graph, along with other associated figures, from the different formulas.

I currently do all this by entering figures in excel, and it then populates the figures, graph and table in separate sheets with different formulas.

Is there a way to do the same thing in Infopath? If so, how would I refer, let's say,  a drop down box to a specific formula, which then populates certain information?

    Thanks in advance!

You will probably need to make use of the calculated value controls.  These are read-only controls that can use xpath formulas to calculate values based on data from other controls.  There is a repeating table control that might be useful for you as well.  Graphs are not supported out of the box, but there are some custom controls and SharePoint web parts that may be useful if that is still a requirement for you.
