submit two sharepoint lists from one form

Hello, can anybody help with a query I have?

I have two SharePoint lists which although have no relation at all, I would like to have the inputs together so that the user has no idea the data is then stored in separate sharepoint lists.

Going one further I would like one of these to be a normal one row input and the second to be a repeating table input.

I can do both of these separately; the regular input I go to the list and in the ribbon click "customize form". Then for the repeating table input I create a new blank InfoPath form with the SharePoint list template, choose the list, and then check "manage multiple list items".

How do I put these together on one InfoPath form?

Manage multiple list items will allow you to submit/edit multiple items from a single list, but not from two lists.

I would recommend taking a look at our qRules SubmitToSharePointList command.  Its a no code solution that will allow you to submit data from your form into different SharePoint lists.

Re: submit two sharepoint lists from one form

Thanks for your reply, There are certainly some features in your software which would make my life easier.

Can you explain to me how your software would install/run in my situation.

I am primarily a sharepoint consultant/developer who has recently had to learn infopath for a clients requirement to use infopath services.

As such any solutions i create with infopath will only ever be accessed and used through sharepoint with infopath services in a browser, no one but me will use the infopath client.

Will your product need to be installed on the sharepoint server? if so does it then add its functionality to the infopath service?

or is the product installed locally on my machine and it adds custom coding into the form XML ,  then publish the solutions as sandbox solutions?
