Displaying formatted version of repeating section in different view

     Hello,

I currently have a form which looks like this :

So the form has Major Category(dropdown) , Minor category(text box), description(Rich textbox) , all within a repeating section. I also have a 'Add item' button outside the repeating section.Everytime the  Add item (button) is pressed, I want all the data from the repeating section to be appended to a master text area in another view.

I thought the easiest way to this is would be to duplicate the repeating section in the other view but i want the formatting to be different so that only the data is diplayed rather than all the controls(For example, I dont want the dropbox to be displayed but only the value which was entered for the dropbox, also I don't want the 'Repeation Section Icon to be displayed in the second view).

Does anyone have any suggestions ?

I apologize if my question is unclear.

    Kevin

    Hi there,

First off, looks like your image isn't displaying correctly.  But in any case, what you probably want is to change all of your dropdown and editable controls into Calculated Value controls instead.  This will make it all read only.  To do this, just go to each control -> right click -> change control -> select calculated value.  If you don't want the repeating icons displayed, you can not allow users to insert new items in the repeating section properties.  This should remove any control UI from that view.

    Good luck!
