    Buttons as hyperlinks

I have an issue where the users like the look and feel of the button and we are opening other infopath forms froms usign the open form action.  I am trying to pass parameters to the new form and this can be done by using qRules GetInputParameter in the receiving form and then in the source form using the OpenURLinBrowser command but i cant quite get it to fire.  I concatinated it and when I look at the resultant command it looks right.  However it does not open the url when the button is hit.

    OpenUrInBrowser /url=http://............./forms/template.xsn?prjcode=21015271&CA=007061

It feels like i am missing something simple here.

    Thanks

Unfortunately, the OpenUrlInBrowser command requires a system call and therefore requires the form to be full trust (and be running in InfoPath client).  Is your form full trust?

The form is full trust and all other aspects seem to be work ing  well.   I can create a hyperlink and that works fine.

Does the qRules error field show any error after you click the button?

Is there any other qRules functionality in the form that is working?  Perhaps the qRules functionality in your form got deactivated (due to accidentally adding code or something like that).  Could you try running another command like GenerateGuid to test that out?

Bingo that did it!!  I found that the person who was  reviewing the form went to the coding section and it inserted the code and blocked qRules.

    Thanks for clearing it up
