Hi, I have set up an InfoPath form and published it to SharePoint.
When a user creates a new form from SharePoint they can enter some details and submit. I have used a button which calls the submit option. In the submit options I have created rules (setting status etc.) and at the end of the list send email to an approver, followed by submitting to SharePoint. I have the Advanced options set to close form after submit. - and when submitting for the first time the form closes. I have the Enable InfoPath e-mail form functionality from this template checked. Under the e-mail data connection, I have the send form data as an attachment checked.
When the approver opens the form in Outlook, they can make the appropriate additions, and submit the form (using the same button). The form sends email to a second approver, and submits to SharePoint, as it should. BUT as it tries to close it says do you want to save *.xml YES NO CANCEL.
I have looked at the Form Options and unchecked the box Save and Save As in Enable features. When I have these settings and I open the form from outlook, pressing the submit button sends email, and submits the document, BUT as it tries to close it says do you want to submit *.xml YES NO CANCEL, if you say YES you can go round in circles for ever.....
Please how can I stop this prompt
Thank you
