Need button (or something) to select all check boxes in a multi select list box

    Hello all infopath professionals!

I have a long list of check boxes in a multi-select box and I need a way for the user to select all.  It doesn't have to be a button; it could be a check box in the list that if checked, would check all the boxes in the mult select list.

The multi box is a list of cities.  The user checks off the cities.    By the way, the results will eventually be listed as city text names in a sharepoint site column.

Is there a way to do this using rules?

    Thanks in advance!

You should be able to use a button with a rule that when the button is pressed (always applies) the actions would set the other controls to the desired state. For checkboxes (TRUE/FALSE, 1/0 etc.) You would need an action for each control you want to manipulate.

So the issue here is that this is a multiselect - thus, bound to a repeating field. Everytime an item is selected in a multi-select, a new instance of the repeating field is added, and the value is set to the selected item. Deselecting removes the instance. So, without code (or possibly qRules), I can't see a way to do this.
