Would it be possible the automatic fill in of a form field taking the data from an external device using the serial port?
I would like to design a "GPS location report template". The form would automatically capture several GPS locations at a given frequency (i.e one each quarter hour) from the GPS device through the serial port of the PC and the user would add comments and other data by the keyboard. After completion, the user would send the XML file by email to a remote PC.
