Return value from XML source where column and row intersect?

I've tried looking this up, but I can't even figure out what I should be searching on to describe what I'm trying to do. I'm using InfoPath to recreate an Excel form originally created by someone else. The Excel form has a cell that is populated by a value which is determined by what is entered in three other fields (rental type (daily, weekly, monthly), county (list of 62), vehicle size (compact, standard, etc.). One of the three values (rental type) is used to determine the worksheet to look on. The other two (county and vehicle size) represent the column (vehicle size) and row (county) on that worksheet. The value in the final cell is the intersection of that column and row.

So, in my InfoPath form, I've got a drop-down for rental type, with three choices. The next field is a drop-down for county, and the third is a drop-down for vehicle size. I'd like a final result in a text box, to be the value at the intersection of the county and vehicle size entered, for the particular rental type.

Is this even possible with InfoPath? FYI: I know absolutely nothing about code. I'm trying to do this with a formula, much like the ridiculously long one currently being used in the Excel spreadsheet.

    Thanks, Lori

P.S. So, I've been thinking about this a bit more, and reading a little online. It seems there's a lot you can't do in InfoPath that you can do in Excel. Given that, would my solution be to somehow collect the data in the InfoPath form, pass it back to Excel, let Excel do the math, and then have the control read the result from Excel? It has some logic, but it sounds like craziness.
