Hi, I am using infopath 2007.
I have a multiple selection box which is based on data from an external datasource.- user not able to add values.
But the external datasource can change and I may be left with some "invalid" values when the form is going through the workflow. I have had problems doing validation on multiple selection boxes before - so I have resorted to code to recording the error in FormErrors.
This is working.
If I show the repeating fields individually they show with a red dashed border.
But the multiple selectionbox does not show as erroring. Can I access the form errors from an expression box ? I was thinking of using an expression box (+ conditional formatting ?) to show an error - but don't know how, or if it is achievable.
Do you have any other recommendations.
