Hi Guys, Another question for you.. I have two fields around my employee probation form. The employee's probation is done in 2 parts - one at 3, and one at 6mths.. Rather than having to enter two dates exactly 3mths apart, is there a formula I can use to add 3 months? I saw the addDays, but as we don't have exactly the same number of days in a month, that doesn't work for me.. :) Ta! Jami

Could you be specific about the algorithm you want to implement?

What do you expect to happen if you add 3 months to November 30'th 2010 ? Which date should that end up at when adding three months? February 29'th 2011? March 2'nd 2011?

hmmm good thinking eliasen.. I didn't think of that. In this case, it would be the next day, so when adding 3 months and the date doesn't exist (such as 31st month), it will fall to the 1st of the next month.. Sorry! I'm still new at all this stuff :) Jami
