    How to embed barcode from SP form library into the form?

    Hi,

    I have a SP form library where my forms are publishing to, by the Information policy every published form getting barcode. By this policy it assigns to the form during submitting/saving.

    I'd like to embed this form directly into the form, have no idea how to do that.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Interesting conundrum, right? The barcode is generated on submit, so it's a challenge to include the barcode when the form is submitted. I would suggest:

    1. Submit

    2. Query to get the barcode

    3. Resubmit and close the form.

    Do you think this would work for you? I can't think of anything else.

    At first thank you very much for answer!

    Yes, absolutely agree with you and actually I've stopped on the stage 2.

    The code fragment is following:

    /* Getting point to the BarcodeValue field from the Secondary datasource

    XPathNavigator myNavigator = this.Datasource["MySecondaryDatasource"].CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("q:_dlc_BarcodeValue");

    But I've stacked on the moment how to make a query (based on , i.e. unique date for each SharePoint library row. I've made custom submitting: date from the form is publishing in appropriate field in SP lib)
