    Regarding data connections...

    hello,

i have created one infopath application in which i have created one data connection....

now the requirement is i have to fetch data from DB and at the same time submit data back to the DB using same repeating table..

now the problem is am having two different methods in a web service ( one for fetching the data and second for saving the data) bcz of that i cant give two different mappings for same repeating table

or is there any way to do that?

    any help would be appreciated.

    thanks

    Hi,

You should take a look at our Database Accelerator (DBXL) software for InfoPath and SQL.  DBXL is a generic webserivce that will allow you to easily map your data from InfoPath to SQL including the repeating data.  DBXL is a fast and easy way to do this and also a better way to integrate InfoPath and SQL compared to the native InfoPath data connections.

You can find out more information about DBXL including the free trial version here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/DBXL.aspx

I can also setup a demo and show you how DBXL works and answer any questions you have about the product.  The bottom line is DBXL will save you time and effort compared to doing this yourself.  Once DBXL is installed you can be mapping your form data to SQL in a matter of minutes.  DBXL works with our without SharePoint.
