Move SharePoint site to new site collection. Infopath data connections?

Our corporate IT guy wants us to move our site to a new site collection.  How will this affect my InfoPath forms?  I have many browser forms that have list data connections, QRules mappings, etc.  Will these all have to be manually re-created?  Do the list GUIDs change?

I would love to hear from someone who has been through this process.

If you're using centrally managed UDCx files for your secondary data connectoins (including XML), you should be able to migrate from one site to another without as much work. But, even if you aren't it should not be hideous. You will have to fixup data connections and GUIDs but you can do that either manually by editing the XSF or using the InfoPath designer ...

No, I'm not using UDCx files.  Maybe I should be?

    So the GUIDs WILL change?

If I modify the GUIDs and URLs, then the SharePoint columns will still be available in InfoPath (without modifying them all)?

Along these same lines, if I apply an SSL cert to sharepoint, do I need to recreate the links in all the form to be HTTPS?
