    Updating fields based on values

I am currently doing some data analysis using infopath as the input for all of our information. Based on one fields value I have created values that auto-populate. Such as if the number is great than 180 than two other fields auto-populate with "High" and "0". The problem I am running into however is that if I type in the wrong value and "high" or "0" populate, they do not disappear if I change the initial value. These fields have also been locked into read-only, as there will be numerous people putting information in. The "0" and "1" are needed for the statistical program that we use. Any way to fix this? Thanks!

Are you doing this via rules and, if so, where are the rules set?

The rules you are using to set the value of high/0 must be placed on the control whose value is changing, in this case the field that holds the "180" value. Such that when the value changes from 180 to something else, the rules fire and the other field(s) have their values modified accordingly.
