Form is no longer browser enabled after injecting with Q Rules

I have a IP 2007 form that was succesfully submitting data to SP 2007 and could be opened in a browser.  I injected my form with qRules in order to use the SaveToSharePoint command (I have an attachment field that and wanted that attachment to be in a separate library).   I tested that the attachment did indeed get uploaded to my document library; however, the data no longer submits to the Form library.  In addition, when I click publish, I get a message that the form cannot be opened in a browser.  There are no errors on my form.  What happened and more importantly - how do I fix this?  i injected my form because I read other posts that said qRules could be used on browser enabled forms.  Thanks.

    Hi:

There is an option in the qRules injector to select Browser or Client -- was Browser selected? Is your form saved as browser compatible?

As to "the data no longer submits to the form library" -- I think what you are saying is that your form has a Submit connection that submits to a SharePoint library, and that connection is no longer working?

Just the injection of qRules should not affect your data connections. Perhaps walk through the data connection wizard again for your submit connection and make sure everything is as you anticipate (i.e., you're submitting to the library you expect, you are either creating unique file names or have selected the overwrite option, etc)

Hi Hilary. I did select Browser when injecting my form.  In addition, I created a browser enabled form.  When I publish my form, I get a message "The form template is available on the server for use with InfoPath, but it cannot be opened using a browser becuase it contains features that are not compatible with browsers.

I don't understand this.  Design checker returns no errors and everything is configured to be browser enabled.

How is the form being deployed to SharePoint? In InfoPath 2007 / SharePoint 2007 you'll need to admin deploy the form; I believe there are steps in the qRules User Guide. If this is happening in spite of those deploy steps, please let us know. Thanks.

I am a site owner so permissions are not a problem.  The same form without qRules publishes just fine (users without infopath can open and fill out the form).  The form is a tutor hiring form that contains a number of fields including a field to submit their resume.  What I want to happen is the contents of the form get submitted to a form library called Tutor Applications.  The resume gets uploaded with the form and gets placed in a document library called Tutor Resumes.  When clicking on the application submitted to SharePoint, our hiring coordinator should be able to view the tutor resume without having to open up the tutor's application form.

    Hi,

A form without qRules can be published to SharePoint by going to File > Publish and publishing to a form library in Sharepoint 2007. (This is likely what you were doing before injecting qRules.)

A form with qRules needs to be Admin-deployed to MOSS 2007, even if you are a site owner. This is because qRules injects a DLL into your form. A form with code that will be used in the browser needs to be admin-deployed. You should find steps for this in page 10 of the user guide.

    Hope this helps.
