Hi Everyone,

I have a form (infopath 2003) that generates an email using the objOutlook approach. This email includes a link to the list item on SP2003. Everything works but now that we migrated to SP2010, I cannot make the link work.

My form has a text field: SpLink
In the button that generates the email, I have a rule that sets the SpLink value to concat(http://sites/unit/list/listname/DispForm.aspx?ID=,ATID)
So on the email the link looks like this: http://sites/unit/list/listname/DispForm.aspx?ID=17

In SP2010, the item shortcut is this: http://sites/unit/_layouts/listform.aspx?PageType=4&ListID-{006F0B2B-B15A-46E5-A2ED-1374AB8654E4}&ID=17&ContentTypeID=0x0100C26595E29F766045ABEC04EAFBAC8560

So I modified the SpLink value to concat(http://sites/unit/_layouts/listform.aspx?PageType=4&ListID-{006F0B2B-B15A-46E5-A2ED-1374AB8654E4}&ID=,ATID)
But on the email, the above link gets broken after the {...it only works if I press the enter key after link.

 Is there a way I can fix this without having the email recipient click reply and then press the enter key after the broken link?

 Any help is greatly appreciated.

After I posted this, I had an idea, tested it and it worked.  Instead of using the _layouts/listform.... I changed the value to "/DispForm.aspx?ID" and it seems to work....but now, I have another question. Is there a way I could produce a link that opens a pop-up window?   I used this link in wikilibrary using javascript OpenPopUpPage('/sites/unit/Lists/AskUs/AllItems.aspx'); and I'm thinking of something similar.

Again, any help is greatly appreciated.
