Cannot publish promoted fields form an InfoPath 2007 Form to SPS 2007
I would like to publish to SPS 2007 some calculated fields from an InfoPath form which was upgraded from 2003 to 2007.When I publish InfoPath 2003 form, I have no problems because each calculated field is added to “xfp” file manually.Note: These fields cannot be created as calculated columns in SPS because the calculation is more complex and needs filtering data. When upgrading form to Infopath2007 and publishing it to SPS, “xfp” file is missing. What I did was manually to add these fields to manifest.xsf file. When I first did this, I had no problem but since then each time I was publishing the form these fields appeared more than once in library. So in order to solve this problem, I deleted these fields from manifest.xsf file, I republished the form so none of these calculated fields was appeared in the form’s library and then tried to republish the form again with these fields inside the manifest.xsf file. By doing this, my intention was these fields to appear only once in the library. But since then, I have not achieved my goal, because every time I try to publish the form with these fields inside the following message appear: “Enter your credentials to connect to the following Web Service ……/Lists.asmx”Also, I tried another solution: I published the form as InfoPath 2003 , so “xfp” file was created and as a result I could add the calculated fields. Then in the same form library, I published the form as InfoPath 2007.By doing that, although the calculated fields worked fine, filters in library’s views had been lost. Can anyone help me??Thanks in advance
