    Leave Form routing assistance required

    Hey all,

First, thank you for taking the time to read my dilemma.  I've been working on a leave management system using SharePoint 2007/InfoPath 2007.  The objectives completed so far:

    1. Form created
    2. When User goes to create new form Name/Department field are populated via GetUserProfileByName
    3. Actual date of Joining back is auto-populated
    4. Once submitted, it routes to Direct Manager (still some kinks to work out since email notification isn't working)

What I need help with though is this:

    1. When I click submit, the application is saved in this format "Leave Application_FullName_Type of Leave_Today's Date" so "Leave Application_RamyAsha_Private Leave_2011-18-02"

Given that the Department field is auto-populated from Active Directory (SSP), how can I have it so that when a user submits, it routes to the same folder populated in the Department field? And as a secondary, is it possible to have it go to a folder under my name?  So for example, once I click submit it can route to "NOCIT --> Ramy Asha".  Or is it possible to have it so that when I submit, it auto-creates its path so that in the future when new departments and employees come on board, I don't end up with the task of manually doing this?

I'd really appreciate some help with this, Thanks in advance, Ramy

A quick update, I was able to achieve the routing by creating rules and separate data connections for each department.  I'm wondering though would there be a way to auto-create these folders when new departments come on board? Thanks!
