I'm facing a problem with uploading an xsn-file to SharePoint 2007. It's a german installation and so is the error message I get when I try to upload the file. But I will try to translate.
German: Die Assembly
'Example_published.dll' aus der Formularvorlage
'Example.xsn'
('urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:Example:-myXSD-2005-10-21T21-12-27')
steht in Konflikt mit einer gleichnamigen Assembly in einer älteren Version des
Formulars. Aktualisieren Sie die Version der Assembly auf die neue Version des
Formulars, und versuchen Sie es erneut.
English: The assembly 'Example_published.dll' of the form template 'Example.xsn' ('urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:Example:-myXSD-2005-10-21T21-12-27') is conflicted with an assembly of the same name but an older version of the form. Update the version of the assembly to the new version of the form and try again.
That error occurs although I work on the same form all the time. It seems as though the error occurs randomly. I tried to edit the version of the form (which is not older than the uploaded version), but that didn't do. Also I tried to change the version of the code-behind, but I don't know where or if the version corresponds to the version of the form.
I had the same problem some time ago, but it seemed to had solved itself. The only thing I did was to publish and upload the form over and over again, which is a "strategy" that doesn't work this time. I also googled a lot for that problem, but couldn't find anything concerning this particular error message.
Any piece of advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
