Change data conection to same table structure but with different table name

Hi All, I am trying to change my InfoPath 2007 data connection from a test environment to a production environment. The tables are located in a SQL 2008 database; both tables share the same field names but have different table names. I am able to change the connection from a test environment to production environment when the table names are the same, but when I change one of the table names it automatically breaks. My guess it has to do something with the source code in InfoPath that check first that the table names are the same before checking the field’s and since the  table names do not match the binding breaks. Is there a way to change this logic or a work around this problem. I've develop a lot a forms that are bounded to a lot of controls that will take me along time to bind again Thanks, Lou87

    Lou87,

This is easy after you spend 4 hours of your life trying to change the source code just go to the connection box and add the new connection . Before hitting the the finish button just go to the edit SQL option in the connection box and put as an alias the old table name. This will fix the problem.

    Thanks,
