Hi team,

         can you help me with the following item?

         i have developed a web service wich make an action and, if the action has been completed succesfully it return a "SUCCESS TRANSACTION" string , but if the action has not been completed successfully it return another string.

         So, i can submit data from the form successfully, it work fine, but the issue is when i want to get the "result message", because if i add another data connection it doesnt work.

         how can i solve that?? any idea??

Hi Matias,

sorry, I don't quite understand. why are you "adding another data connection"? Are you using that to get the string value for error message? If so, why not just query the Web service if it fails. You can use another rule for that. Sorry, I don't quite understand your question though.

         i tried the following:

                            * i create a data connection with the web service.

                             * i submit data ussing this data connection (it work fine)

                             * i tried "set a field value" in the same event, but when i go to choice the value, the WebService data connection does not appear in the dropdown.

Any idea?

When you add an action to set a value for a secondary data connection (Web Service), you need to choose from the data source. The Web Service will appear under the main data source. I'm assuming you are trying to set a query parameter. Let me know if you can't find it.
