    Link to (another) Infopath form

    Hi, I'm trying to generate a link to an Infopath form within an Infopath form - all forms are client based and stored on a SP form library. I can access whatever needed information on the form to be linked (I'm doing that already using the lists.getListItems web service), but the obvious way of creating the URL (http://site/subsite/library/formName.xml) ends up in opening the form in the browser (failing). I guess also some kind of URL rewriting is needed and was wondering if anyone had already done that... Thanks anyone, Renato

    Please try adding a parameter to the URL:

    http://<servername>/library/template.xsn?OpenIn=Client

    More parameters are described here:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms772417.aspx

    Good luck.

    Thanks Ernesto,

    I ended up with a button to launch

    thisApplication.XDocuments.Open(url, 8);

    Since I'm accessing form informations using the getlistitems webservice, I also managed to gather the complete URL through the

    ows_EncodedAbsUrl

     attribute in the web service reply. Thanks anyway!
