It is only once you click on save within SharePoint that the records get saved however i was wondering is there any way that the button which I have put on my form will allow for the record to be saved directly to the form. Currently once the button is clicked it is doing the following thingsSets a field isEmailing = true - hides the parts of the form which should not be emailedSubmit Data - Email - send the form via email Set a fields value isEmailing = false - hides the email viewSend data to a web part - this is not doing anything at the momentClose the form Any advice on what I am doing wrong or how I could resolve this will be hugely welcomedThank you Kully 02-08-2013 08:58 PM In reply to elcapitan1987 Joined on 02-08-2013 Posts 3 Re: How to submit data to the form library once a button is clicked Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Kully, Not to offend you, as I don't know your IP experience. But have you added a data connection to the SharePoint library list? You can set it to save in the library there. You can also create a workflow in Sharepoint designer to send emails of the completed form or even set an alert in the library the document is uploading too. Hope this helps. 02-09-2013 03:51 PM In reply to Patrick Halstead Joined on 08-08-2006 Posts 5,112 Re: How to submit data to the form library once a button is clicked Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi Kully,ElCapitan1987 is correct. Just add another rule+action to your button which submits to SharePoint. Probably you should do this before you send the email since if it fails the submit (for example, if they are offline), you will want to error out and not send email. Good luck!
