    Leading Zero Pattern?

    Hello,

I need 6 digit BSB number on my form.  The form owner wants the form to require 6 digits with leading zeros possible.

I picked a text box with Data Type defined as Whole Number (Integer).

I tried to then use a Data Validation pattern.  No go.

I then set it to Data Type as string, then again use Data Validation with a Pattern.

My Message box pops up no matter what.

So, what s the pattern to get 6 digits (numbers only) in a field?

    Thx!

    Have you tried this?:  \d\d\d\d\d\d

    That should work.

    Jimmy,

    Thx!  That worked.

Is there a help page with patterns anywhere?

I always get confused as every language seems to have its own way of doing things.
