hi all

I used ucdx datacontionlib for accssing sql database.  my connection  string is updated on site itself,  but when infoapth form opened i did not get data data populated on dropdown and got message  error occurred while accessing datasource

Hi Rakesh,

If the form is showing error while loading then I would think that there's a problem in the data source which is set up to "automatically retrieve data when form is opened". Kindly check that your data connections works as expected (i.e. when you preview the form in InfoPath client).

     I already checked  "automatically retrieve data when form is opened"  infopath dataconnection option .actually it working fine   on development environment

 after deployment it gives me error   and  my form contains 4 list data connection which is works fine  and 3 sql data connection(ucdx files) which gives me error like error occurred while accessing database in info path form

Hi Rakesh,

By saying "development environment", is that another SharePoint server? If the form works when previewed using InfoPath client but throws error after publishing in SharePoint, then it could be a cross domain issue. Try changing the form to full trust.

Yes it is another sharepoint production  server i used feature.xml file it contains following  connection string <Property Key="ContactsUdcxCxnString" Value="Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source=servername ;Initial Catalog=dbname;Persist Security Info=True;Integrated Security=SSPI"/>
</Properties>

i used windows authentication.  This working fine on dev server  but gives error  (error occurred while accessing data source) on prod sever . i got entry in event viewer login failed for user reason token-based server access validation  failed with an infrastructure error.
