InfoPath Dev

My problem is as follows:

1.  We have a custom content type called eForm that inherits from Form.
2. I have a browser based InfoPath form with code behind that needs to be deployed as a feature AND needs to inherit from eForm

The content type deploys properly and inherits as expected when I try to launch the form in the browser the client opens and eventually says it can't find the tempalte.

 I know this must be something simple but I can't find any documentation is related specifically to this scenario (code behind, feature, inheritence).
