    Form shredding error ID:501

Form that takes input parameter to auto-fill header info from data in SQL is supposed to, on Submit, insert form data into SQL and submit form to SharePoint library.

For this issue, this user initially received error message on submit but form still submitted to library and data did not insert into database.

The DAT DocID is present on Documents tab of DAT tool...I attempted to Reshred All which was successful except for this one DocID.  The error message is:

An error occured while calling the ReshredallDocuments method.

ID501: Error parsing 1 documents out of 5.

Error shredding DocID459: An error occurred saving form data to the database:

-One of the form's values was too large or could not be converted to the correct data type to be stored in the database.

As a result, the data has not been shredded to the database.

I suspect it's the "Note" field, a rich text field in a repeating table (Sections) that is filtered.  (I uploaded the form to Ernesto earlier today).  The user likely copied a bulleted list from Word into the textbox and the data was too large for the database.

I tested this functionality before going to production and it worked.  Is there a way around this?

I solved this one.  The field in the database for the field in question has a max char limit of 255.  We are trying to insert 500+ characters so the solution is to increase the characters allowed on the column in the database.
