Hello All,

I need a master/detail relationship on my form however the data for both master and detail is coming from a secondary datasource. I know you can't have a master /detail with a secondary datasource but i have to have this type of functionality... doesn't anyone know of a work around?

Hi,

Internal technical limitations prevented  allowing the Master/Detail control on secondary datasources. However, if you want the Master/Detail control on a database or a web service you can design a form from a data source (which makes it the primary data source). Optionally, you can write business logic that moves data from a secondary data source to the main DOM.
