    Data conversion problem

I have created an infopath form based on a data source and searching for an item. when I run the script, it gives message " The conversion of the nvarchar value '021111000000" overflowed an int item maximum integer value exceeded"
When I place the field itemcode on form it takes the data type of simple automatically and does not allow me to change. The data field in database is defined as nvarchar. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Hi,

I think you have placed the field from secondary datasource in infopath form. For Secondary datasource , we can not edit the data type of a field in data source.
Place the field from main dataconnection or main datasource and it will work for you.

I hope this will help for you.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
when we take the data connection either it is secondary or primary from Database or webservice, we cannot edit the data type of the fields. It is only posible for xml as data connection.

    Hope this helps you!
