    DAT Sharepoint Mapping Error

I've seen similar issues to this posted on this forum but none that matches the error I'm getting.

I'm able to submit a form from the DAT to DbxlDocumentService.asmx and have the database update but this doesn't work when opening the form from the document library that it has been published to (either with the infopath client or in the browser).

I'm under the impression that mapping to a sharepoint library from the Sharepoint tab in the DAT may solve this issue (but I'm open to suggestions if this isn't the case).

However, when I save after adding the mapping I get an error stating "An unhandled exception occurred while calling the SetDocumentType method", and the below log entry
As recommended elsewhere the identity accounts for the dbxl app pool is the same as the sharepoint app pool.
My error seems to differ from the others in that it refers to an invalid path "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\DBXL\..."

Ultimately I just want to submit the form from the browser to the web service, and update the database, so if resolving the mapping issue is the answer then that's what I'm after.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: DAT Sharepoint Mapping Error

I'm sorry to hear about this issue. When creating a SharePoint mapping each server may have its own set up and each scenario needs to be investigated to find the cause. I will start by asking for the following:

    1. Are SharePoint and DBXL installed on the same machine/same site?

    2.  Are you opening DAT via https://extranet.XXX.com/qdabrawebservice or a different URL?

    3. Is the form codeless? Does it use qRules?

In addition, if possible, it would be helpful to obtain a copy of your web.config, which you can send to us at support at qdabra dot com instead of attaching to the forum post.

    Thank you.

    Re: DAT Sharepoint Mapping Error

This appears to be very specific to machine configuration.   We have had one report of this specific error, but when they installed on a second machine it did not exhibit this problem.

Can you run msinfo32.exe and save to a file for us?  Please email to the support alias.
