Showing items count from Form Library in a repeating table

    Hi Everyone,

     Greetings for the day.

I have designed an Infopath form which collects data to create new request for each department. This form data is saved in Forms Library of SharePoint using Data connection. Then Approval/ Rejection happens for the workflow started. All is well. Now I have to show report, once user goes to the Report section.

The report will show Department Name in left most column, Number of requests(i.e. Count of rows where 'Department Name' is XYZ) for that department next to it, Number of requests Approved(count of rows where Status is 'Approved' and Department name is 'XYZ'), Number of requests Rejected etc in adjacent columns. I have created a data connection to receive data from the Forms library. This connection shows all the data when I bind it to a repeating table. I tried to set rules in Tools>Form Options>Open and Save but it does not show what I want.

I am back to square one while doing this which is no where. One more consideration is that I can't use code for this, Only Rules and Actions. Is this possible? If yes, can you please guide me to achieve this?

Appreciate your help. Below is the dummy look n feel of how the report should look alike:

Department Name   Request submitted Approved                                     Rejected                    Pending
    Operations 10 5 4 1
    Marketing 15 10 3 2
    Resourcing 6 2 3 1
