    DBXL Functionality Question

I need to pre-populate approximately 300 or so copies of a comples Infopath form from the 300 records in an equally complex SQL database and file them out to Sharepoint without user interaction.  Is this doable with your DBXL suite?

I would research myself, but I don't have time!!!  We need to make this happen really quickly!!

    Re: DBXL Functionality Question

    Hi,

From your description it does sound like DBXL can help you out along with some of our other tools.

Roughly speaking you can export your DB data to an Excel spreadsheet then use our Excel to XML migration tool to get the documents into XML (InfoPath) format.  Then you can migrate those documents using some DBXL tools to DBXL and from there you can get the forms into SharePoint and the data into SQL if you want to map the forms back to SQL.

Users would not need to create the 300 forms manually. It sounds like you do not have InfoPath forms already, is that correct?

You can contact me via a private message in the forum with your contact information and I would be happy to talk to you in more detail about this project and how DBXL is going to save you a lot of time.

    Thanks

    Ted
