I am wondering if it is possible to make it so the user can copy information from the menu and paste it in their form? 08-29-2006 06:08 PM In reply to Matt Faus Joined on 08-18-2006 Dallas, Texas Posts 1,558 Re: Task Pane Custom Help Copy/Paste Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I don't see why this wouldn't be available via the usual means (ctrl+c, ctrl+v). Are you trying to add a "Copy to Clipboard" button? I'm not sure how to do this but I'm sure there is a JavaScript example out there that shows how this can be done. Reply Contact Yep that's what I'm trying to do. I am unable to select the text from my custom task bar. I'm sure I could write code to create a button to "Copy to Clipboard" but would be more work for our users to delete the parts they don't want. 08-31-2006 10:04 AM In reply to Greg Collins Joined on 08-08-2006 Posts 2,126 Re: Task Pane Custom Help Copy/Paste Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact You can allow users to copy text in the task pane when you place your text into read-only input elements. Remove the borders to make it look like plain text. Example:<input type="text" readonly="true" value="This is a test" style="border:none"/> Please Visit:BraintroveGreg's Paintings 08-31-2006 12:35 PM In reply to jschen77 Joined on 08-28-2006 Posts 3 Re: Task Pane Custom Help Copy/Paste Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Thanks it works but seems a little sloppy for the amount of text I have. Are there any other methods? I looked into <textarea> but the scroll bars are ugly. 08-31-2006 01:08 PM In reply to Matt Faus Joined on 08-18-2006 Dallas, Texas Posts 1,558 Re: Task Pane Custom Help Copy/Paste Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact You should be able to set the width and height parameters of a textarea element so that no scrollbars are displayed. Hope this helps.
