    Tree View in InfoPath

    Dear Friends,

Is it possible to view a data in TreeView Format in InfoPath?...
How can we use custom TreeView control(Microsoft TreeView Control Version 6.0) in the InfoPath Form.

Anyone Have any idea... Is it possible in some other way?...

    Hi Vasanth,
We haven't tried that control. If you found one that you could wrap into an ActiveX control, then you could add it to the view and interact with it as any other custom control (which is difficult, but doable). A couple other options are a) use the taskpane, and b) do some tricky view side display to make a repeating table look like a tree. We've done both of these approaches for projects. For best performance, I'd use the taskpane, or just make the section scrollable in the view. The view is slightly easier to work with in the form (since you don't need to write a lot of code to transfer data from the taskpane).

    Good luck!

    Hi Patrick,

    Thank you for your reply.

Instead of Repeating Table... I would like to use taskpane. But the value is to be filled in the TaskPane or Repeating Table are from the WebService... How can I send the Value from webservice to TaskPane (html page).

Can you please help me out.

    Regards,
    Vasanth.

You'll have to use code/script to get the taskpane to display the values from your data source.
