Repeating table in browser form. Keeping rows in descending order.

     Hello all,

I am attempting to create a log entry form and am having trouble with the repeating table being browser compatible.  I would like a user to be able to enter a log entry and submit it.  The entered entry will move down and a new blank entry will appear above it, this way the logs will be in descending order.  I have read a few things about preceding siblings, but am not quite sure if that is what I need to implement in this case.  Currently I have just renamed the insert above button to "submit log entry" to keep everything in order, but ideally if I could just use the insert item button to do the same thing as it would look much cleaner.  I have attached an xsn of what I have so far.  I don't mind scrapping what I have if there is a easier cleaner method to do this.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Aakashn,

Well, I'd use two sections. The second sectoin (below the first) is read-only and shows the log entries in decending order. The first section is just one entry and allows edit. If you need to sort the sections, you can use Qdabra's qRules to sort without code.

    Best of luck!

Did not think of that, thank you.
