I have a browser enabled Infopath form running from sharepoint.

In the form I have an 'Itemised list' repeating table with fields such as Line number, Description, Part Number, Qty, etc.

I have a problem with the Description text box - it doesn't autocomplete while in browser. All other fields that I've set to autocomplete in this repeating table, and the rest of the form, function correctly, except this one.

I've ticked the Enable Autocomplete box in text box properties of the field, as well as Spell Checker and Multi-line options. I have rules in this text box to populate other fields in the repeating table, depending on text entered.

While this is not a big problem, it's a bit annoying.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

 I'm not sure if I understood, could you attach a screenshot of the error or attach you template?

This problem seems to have gone but I'm not sure why. 

My problem was that when I typed text into the Description field, the Autocomplete text option wasn't working. In all other fields where this option was flagged, I could type text and a list of previous entries would appear for me to select from.

I possibly had conflicting Rules running on this particular field as well as the Repeating Table that holds it so I removed the rules on the repeating table. I also have three views of this particular repeating table. These views had different display options set up for the same Description field in each view. I changed some of these so possibly my problem was there.

 Apologies for not closing this question sooner and not being very methodical while trying to solve this problem. (I would have liked to understand what happened.)
