not sure if this is directly an infopath problem.

my infopath form is populating certain fields from database info via a web service / stored procedure.

however on amending the stored procedure to retrieve an additional field i need, it is not available when im trying to set the text field value in the form. i see all the original fields listed for this connection but not the new one so its like its not picking up the latest stored procedure.

i deleted the connection in infopath and recreated it but still no joy.

any ideas ? i thought changing the stored procedure would instantly be reflected in the infopath data connection to this web service...

Hi -- you definitely should see the new fields if you recreated your data connection. InfoPath creates the schemas for data connections when they are created, so if you add fields, you should generally plan on walking through the data connection wizard again to update your schema with the new fields (I'm lazy, so I like to work with the form source files and manually add the nodes, but it is smarter to just use the UI). Verify your stored procedure returns all the columns you expect by executing it in SSMS, and then try to create a new connection to it again, see what happens.
