    Conditional Formatting

    Hi,

    I have this conditional formatting expression and it is working in client but not working in browser form. I have tried so many ways but no success. My main goal is when user select any checkbox in repeating table so need to disable other checkboxes. I am binding repeating table through code.

    count(current()/preceding-sibling::my:AccessProfileAA/my:rdb_AccessProfileA[. = "true"]) > 0

    or

    count(current()/following-sibling::my:AccessProfileAA/my:rdb_AccessProfileA[. = "true"]) > 0

    Please suggest me expression which could work in browser form.

    I'm wondering if the issue could be postback. Can you try setting postback to always on your checkbox control and see if that helps?

     It is working now browser based if i give the full Xpath. Thanks for your time Hilary Stoupa. Here is my both expression.

    /my:myFields/my:ProfileAccess_section/my:AccessProfileA/my:AccessProfileAA/my:rdb_AccessProfileA[count(current()/preceding-sibling::my:AccessProfileAA/my:rdb_AccessProfileA[. = "true"]) > 0]

    /my:myFields/my:ProfileAccess_section/my:AccessProfileA/my:AccessProfileAA/my:rdb_AccessProfileA[count(current()/following-sibling::my:AccessProfileAA/my:rdb_AccessProfileA[. = "true"]) > 0]

     Hi Hilary,

    I have one more query here. Actually i have 3 level approval process for this infopath form so i kept 3 section, 1 for requestor with Submit and Cancel button and other 2 sections for approvars with Approve and Reject button in each section. See my workflow here

    Requester ---> Manager ---->  Business Head.

    Now i want to send email to manager when requester submit the form. If manager reject it then close the request and make read only form. If manager approves it then forward it to Business Head for final Approval. If Business Head Approve it then send acknowledgement to each user. If reject then close the request.

    I know i can use SPD email workflow for that but i wanted to know that can be achieved by infopath form itself? (no SPD uses). Only i need to send email with every action on form.

    Could you please suggest best way to do this?

    Wouldn't an email submit connection work for this? You can use a field for the "To", "Subject", etc. in the submit data connection - just use rules to set those fields to the desired values....

     Hi Hilary,

    Thanks for your reply. Yes i can use but i have two level for submission as mention in last post so i am not sure whether it can be handled through rules or not. Also i wanted to know that can we send form link in email so user can directly open same form from outlook without using SPD.

    Just one verification:

    Can i send form as attachment in email? if yes then how it works in browser based (in client form it can directly open in user machine.

    Please give me a some reference for multilevel approval with email and status.

    Again thanks for your time
