    Infopath security

I get the following error when trying to open a new form:

"Your user name or group membership cannot be verified because the form's security settings do not permit it."

I created a form that accesses our company's intranet site to grab username information.  Everything was working just fine until IT pushed out a .NET update to 2.0.  Then the form couldn't access the intranet site.  So as a temporary solution, I removed that functionality of the form.  However, that's when the error referenced above started appearing.  I've tried changing the form's security, and I've tried changing IE security.  Nothing has worked.  If I create a new form with the GetUserProfileByName data connection, everything works fine.  It's just the old form that can't be used.  Any ideas would be helpful.  Oh, and the forms are all Infopath 2003.

    Thanks.

    Hi Fnork,

How does the old IP2003 form grab username info? Does it use the same GetUserProfileByName method? The IE settings for the intranet site where GetUserProfileByName resides must show local intranet and the InfoPath security should be domain trust. I'm assuming you have no code in your form.
